Benjamin Asante-Ayeh

Benjamin is a Chartered Accountant by profession and a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana. He has over 22 years of post–qualification experience in practice. He has served as the Audit Manager: Deloitte &Touch (about 16 years), Finance Manager: Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) and Progeny Ventures Incorporated (PVI).
Whilst in Deloitte & Touché, Benjamin was directly in charge of special assignments involving Sarbanes-Oxley (Act 2002) reviews for West African Drilling Services ( Mali & Guinea); and Guinness Ghana Breweries Group. These assignments were aimed at assessing and evaluating the Internal Control Systems and their operating effectiveness of these organizations as required by the Act.
He also managed other clients such as Banks, Manufacturing Companies, Mining Companies, Trading Organisations, United Nations and EU Projects and Special Investigations.
He is also a serving board member of the Audit Committee of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, a former Audit Committee Member of Registrar General’s Department (RGD) for 5 years; currently serving on the following boards: Mumuadu Rural Bank Limited (Board Chairman); a Trustee/Secretary of the Christ Apostolic Pension Scheme Board and a member of the National Development Committee of Christ Apostolic Church as well as a Member of the National Audit Committee of the Church. He is also a former board member of Global Access Savings & Loans Company.
